Cabin Trip #3! :)

I'm on a roll. Can't stop now. :) We took another trip to the cabin! This time Jenny and the kids (cousins) came with us! Troy always enjoys it just a little bit more if he has some friends! :)

There was plenty of nail painting, hair do-ing, and things like that. Even the boys got in on the action! :) Jumping off the rock! Yes! Even I did it. Mom said she would pay me 20 dollars! :) Pictionary after breakfast.
A great time had by all! :)

Shannon's Wedding

Right before we left to go to Shannon's wedding, Jaclyn came to visit and I got to see her for a little bit. We played games one night. (This is the only picture we took, and it's not very good!) Went to breakfast at Bob's, and went for a little ride around the valley.

That same day, mom and I headed to Sacramento for the wedding. We stayed in a hotel that night and then went to the wedding the next day. It was a fun day! Fun to see the Friden clan. A quick trip! Lots of driving! But definitely worth it!

Cabin Trip 2

Slowly but surely I'll get caught up! :) Mom, Tracy, Troy, and I made another trip to the cabin with Grandpa and Barbara. It was a short one, just for one night. But as always, had a great time! :)

It was crazy all of the things we saw this trip! We were taking the chairs down to the river and a mouse popped out of one. (I didn't take a picture). But then, we were setting up the chairs, and found a scorpion in another chair. We saw a snake kill a fish, and then drag the fish down stream. There were lots of butterflies. And then, found a dead mouse in the cabin. Too much wildlife for one trip I would say! :)

We played lots of cards. Is anyone surprised? :) Troy even got in on the action with some Skip-Bo. Troy and I also went on a little walk down to Mule Bridge. LOVE the cabin!

I.Am.So.Behind.The.End.

I have lots of pictures and lots of things to blog about. Just not a lot of time to blog about it all. I had a great time being home for a month! I will catch up on all of the happenings as soon as I have time. I just finished the most HORRIBLE week of tryouts since I've been coaching. Cutting people from a team has got to be one of the MOST HEARTBREAKING things in the entire world. I'll survive. It was NOT enjoyable though! Last tournament of the year with the Spiders this weekend. Volleyball practice. "Word Processing" work. Hopefully I will have some time later this weekend or next week to catch up! I am alive. I'm sure you have all missed my exciting updates! :)

Home!

I drove Tandy home at the beginning of last week. Greg rode with us so he could come out to visit all of the fun people in California! :) It was an uneventful trip out! Thank goodness! :)

We left the next morning and headed over to the Cabin!

We did a lot of fun things! Walks down to the Mule Bridge.
Pedicures given by mom!

Hours spent going down the rapids.
Jumping off the rock!

Lots and lots of reading! :)

And OF COURSE a card game or two!

It was a nice relaxing trip!

We got home Thursday night, washed some clothes, and packed up and headed to the Coast for Wade's all-star tournament. They got 3rd place, he played great, and we had a fun time!

We went to the ocean a couple of times.

The batting cages were a hit!

At the hotel.

Apparently, this is one of the most photographed houses! It's huge!

It was a packed two days! But we had a great time!

We got home late Saturday night, more like Sunday morning! Sunday didn't disappoint in the crazy, busy, fun category! :) It was Tandy's birthday. We went to church. Dad was made 1st counselor in the bishopric! We had a birthday party for Tandy. Then we got ready to to go the Lake the next day!

Monday we woke up early and went to Trinity Lake.

We had lots of fun playing in the water.

Tubing.

Isn't this the coolest picture? :)

It was a CRAZY, fun filled week, doing some of my favorite things: camping, going to the lake, and hanging out with family! I love summer! :)

Another week! :)

Happy 4th of July!

It's been another busy week! I've driven to Salt Lake more times than I care to ever drive ever again! :) Other things that have happened:

Happy birthday to Tandy. I took her to get her ears pierced.
We spent lots of time at Southtowne Expo Center for a basketball tournament. It's a huge AAU tournament. There was sooo much going on there (12 courts with games being played at the same time! That is a lot of whistles at one time!) Both teams played really well! Again, coaching is the best! I am lucky to coach such a great group of girls!
I had volleyball camp at the high school. One of the girls works at Papa Murphy's. She made me my own special pizza. It was very nice of her and I loved it! :)
We celebrated the 4th of July by visiting Aunt Renee and camping out on her lawn.
Her house is SUPER close to the stadium, so we played cards and hung out. While partaking of the Stadium of Fire for FREE!

We were able to hear Carrie, suprisingly well, despite the crazy neighbors who decided to play their own music when they had perfectly good music in the background, and light their own fireworks, when HELLO there were going to be AMAZING fireworks five minutes later!

We saw lots of fun fireworks! And although our view wasn't this good:
We still had a pretty great view! I love fireworks!
It was a week full of my favorite things! Coaching, friends, family, BBQ's, fireworks, 4th of July! Doesn't get much better than that! Well maybe it does...

Heading home tomorrow for a couple weeks! :) HOORAY!

50th post...

Well it's fitting that my 50th post has to do with a party! :) Katelyn and Mike were in town so we had another one of our AWESOME family get togethers! :)

The famous headshots... :)

I think we started a new tradition... it was a HIT! That is for sure! S'mores on the BBQ!

And it wouldn't be a party without CARDS! :)

As always a big THANK YOU to Rosemary for having us at her house! We all had a great time! I'm grateful to have lots of family that lives close by! :)
